Inaugurated in 2022, the Innovation Center at Red Lake Nation College, situated on the ground floor of the Red Lake Campus, stands as a technological hub fostering creativity and hands-on learning for students, faculty, and staff. The primary objective of this center is to master cutting-edge technologies in the development of online media content for various assignments and classroom applications.
The Innovation Center is staffed with a full-time Innovation Center Coordinator who maintains the institution’s educational equipment, hardware, educational technology platform, integrated external applications, and is available to train and support RLNC students, faculty, and staff.

One notable feature of the Innovation Center is the state-of-the-art recording studios. These studios cater to a variety of multimedia needs, including an audio recording studio equipped for the recording, editing, and production of podcasts. Notably, the center has been instrumental in the creation of RLNC’s Gikendaasowin Podcasts. The facility also provides ample space and high end equipment for video production, allowing individuals to explore and harness the potential of visual storytelling.
