Red Lake Nation College Community Connections (RLNCCC) is a tribal extension program that promotes social change by connecting community needs & tribal college resources to address contemporary issues.

Project Goals

RLNCCC seeks to strengthen and expand concepts of tribal sovereignty in four major areas.

North

Mind

Strengthen education and intellectual sovereignty by delivering knowledge and training through Anishinaabe ways of knowing, leaning, and teaching in support of tribal self-governance and economic development.

East

Spirit

Strengthen cultural sovereignty by expanding community knowledge of and experience with traditional culture, arts, and media

Body

Strengthen food sovereignty and security by expanding community knowledge of and experience with traditional foods and nutrition.

From the moment I stepped onto campus, I was welcomed by a vibrant community of dedicated educators, supportive staff, and diverse peers.
